Emerald City ComiconThe Emerald City Comicon is an annual comic book convention that got it start in 2003 in Seattle, Washington. Like other comicons, the ECC has grown from a comic book convention into a multi-media pop convention. The next show will be the weekend of April 7th thru the 10th, 2016. |
Gallifrey OneThe Gallifrey One, is a sci-fi convention focused on the BBC television show "Doctor Who" and it's spin-offs. Hollywood ShowThe Hollywood Show, which started back in 1979, is held four times a year in LA and now at least once a year in Chicago and Las Vegas. The LA show averages about 80 celebrities each time. The thing that makes this show so great is the variety of guest that attend. You can see stars from TV's "Happy Days", Henry Winkler and Tom Bosley, and "Dallas", Larry Hagman and Charlene Tilton, to movies stars like Linda Hamilton, Ernest Borgnine, Gary Busey, Martin Landau, and Malcolm McDowell. Phoenix ComiconThe Phoenix Comicon has grown vastly since 2002 with attendence in 2012 topping 32,000. Past shows have included Comic Book greats like Stan Lee and Jeph Loeb to TV and movie stars like William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy to Billy Dee Williams and Elvira. The Phoenix Comicon has added a second con called Phoenix Comicon Fan Fest and is held once a year around December, the next show being the weekend of December 4nd thru 6th of 2015. The Phoenix Comicon is held once a year around Memorial Day, the next show being the weekend of June 2nd thru 5th of 2016. |
