Awesome Con Awesome Con is a popular culture celebration held yearly in Washington, DC in the spring. The next Awesome Con will be held on the weekend of June 3rd thru the 5th, 2016.

Dragoncon Dragoncon is one of the largest of the comic cons in the United States with 2012 attendance at 52,000. It is held yearly in Atlanta, Georgia in late August. Dragoncon takes up five hotels in downtown Atlanta and programs thousands on hours of science fiction, fantasy, and comic books for the fans. The next Dragoncon will be held on Labor Day weekend thru September 4th thru the 7th, 2015.
